Our St. Barts hat was handcrafted for us in Tulum Mexico in natural raffia. The crown is wrapped in a  stripe jute strap and sepia cotton gauze tie. The side of the crown is finished with palm tree pyrography and a piece of smoked palo santo In Spanish, palo santo means "holy wood". It is thought to clear negative energy and attract good fortune. 

Interior of crown is finished with a hand stitched band of natural leather to prevent slipping and maintain shape.
