These gorgeous large scale pillows are super fluffy and perfect for layering at the head of a twin bed or on a daybed. Made in a small town in the Republic of Guinea known for its centuries old indigo dyeing. Handmade from hand spun, hand woven and hand dyed cotton. You can still see the needlework for the threads used to "tie dye" the stripe pattern. The pillow cover has an envelop closure. The pillow itself is filled with the sustainable and ultra soft kapok fiber known for its resistance to moisture, it's hypoallergenic and eco friendly. We are in love with these pillows! They capture all things we value, authentic artisan craft, modern style, sustainability and promoting fair wages and healthy conditions for the over 100 artisans that make them. This is artisan luxury.
