They are made in a small town in the Republic of Guinea known for its centuries old indigo dyeing. This bedroll borrows on that tradition in a modern palette of grey using the traditional technique of shibori resist dyeing. It is made from hand spun, hand woven and hand dyed cotton. They are generously filled with the ultra soft and sustainable kapok fiber, known for its resistance to moisture, it's hypoallergenic and eco friendly. These bedrolls capture all the things we value, authentic artisan craft, modern style, sustainability and promoting fair wages and healthy conditions for the over 100 artisans who make them.
